A meandering 45 minute drive from Wellington Central, this short abrupt climb unlocks spectacular views of the Wellington region, Wairarapa and its surrounding lakes and coastline. Highly recommended effort from us here at Welly ways. The climbing begins straight from the carpark as you ascend up through sub alpine shrub and bush. Taking around an hour return this track is a must for any sunset seekers. Take care when winds are high as it can become very gusty towards the top, hold onto your hat!
