Eastbourne to Penacarrow head covers a large area of fishable spots. A gentle walk along the pencarrow access road will lead you past numerous bays where you can drop a line. It's around 1-2 hours to the head walking, a bike will speed things up. The area can be messy with seaweed and rocks so taking a fair bit of gear is recommended as you work your way around to the head. Trying out several different bays is probably the way to go until you find the sweet spot. Fish range from Cod, Snapper, Kahawai, Tarakihi, and Gurnard, for the lucky few even kingfish.
